Important Information from Diane Grantham:
- The high school course catalog must be revised and up-to-date before beginning the 8 grade activities. Check with the high school counselor to make sure this has been done.
- The 8th grade must complete the MS 8th Grade Guideway in Choices Explorer. The last step (9) directs the student to move the portfolio to their future high school. After this step, the student must complete the MS 8th Grade Guideway Part 2 in Choices Planner. The will guide the student through the steps of building the iCAP.
Please adhere to these Timeline Guidelines.
Part 2 should be completed by the end of April
Cluster_Finder_Definitions.doc Download Cluster_Finder_Definitions.doc - Students can use these as they complete a portion of the guideways
It is suggested that you have students complete the upcoming assignments in career areas that interest them. However, allow them the opportunity to research, present, and create items in different career options in a pathway or cluster. This affords students the opportunity to learn more about various career options.
