In this assignment, you are going to learn how to write a check. You will visit The Mint Links to an external site.website and follow the steps to write a check. Read the directions closely. You must actually type to enter the information. Follow the six steps as instructed. You may practice this activity several times.
Now that you have practiced check writing, let's put your skills to the test for "real." Use the template below and write three checks correctly. Copy and paste the check as needed. You will upload your completed checks to me using the Submit Assignment button when you are finished.

Write the following three checks.
- Using today's date, write a check to pay the electric bill for the month. You will write the check payable to Somewhere Electric Company. The amount is $157.81.
- Using today's date, write a check to pay the mortgage. You will write a check to BancorpSouth for $1,161.52.
- Using today's date, write a check to pay the telephone bill. You will write a check to AT&T for $204.69.
