Make a Technology Timelines

Today you will be making a Timeline of Technology telling the story of a piece of technology. First, you will investigate the inventor and their inventions.

Open a word document: Record your information: 

1. Famous Inventors: Bell, Edison, Ford, Charles and Frank Duryea, Elijah McCoy, Wilbur and Orville Wright, George Eastman, Christopher Sholes, 

2. List the inventor and what they invented.  Put this in a timeline from the earliest invention to the latest invention. 

 Next:

 Choose one of these inventions. Trace it from its beginning to present day. We will do this at a later time. You do not have to complete with the timeline.

Once you have chosen an invention, to make another timeline begin this activity.  You must begin with the date of the invention and then give at least 5 dates that the product was changed, modified or improved.  In the end, your timeline should have 6 dates from it's invention to today.
