Post-Secondary Opportunities in Engineering

You have been a student in Engineering I and II.  Over the course of the programs, you have learned about many areas of engineering.  Let's do some research to see what you will need to do to become a student at a university with an engineering program of interest to you and what opportunities should be available upon completion of the degree. 

Research a university of your choice with the engineering program.  What are the entrance requirements into the engineering program?  Which field of engineering did you research?  How long approximately should it take to complete the program?  What will be the approximate cost to complete the program?  What courses will you take?  Are there opportunities available to be involved in student organizations?  Do you have an opportunity to complete an internship?  Include any other information you find that will help you with searching your post-secondary options.  Take good notes and write down your sources. 

When you have finished gathering your information, you will use your notes to write a report.  Write in complete sentences in paragraph form.  Use good spelling, punctuation, and grammar.  Proofread carefully.  Cite your sources at the end of your double-spaced Word document.  Save your report in the appropriate place on the network.  Then, upload your report to this assignment by clicking the Submit Assignment button in the upper-right hand corner of this window.
